  Step back in time to the days of knights in armour. This castle is a wonderful museum and homage to the knights templar. Walk its corridors and halls, and climb its walls. The site is wheelchair friendly. Check the website for opening hours and prices.

  Very interesting historical monument from which you get a great view of the surroundings. Very well conserved and totally worths the visit

  Well worth the trip. Go on Wednesday when it is free. Some difficulty climbing old unprotected staircases but lots more to see. The exhibition in the new building was fantastic.

  Amazing Templar castle very well restored and conserved. Museum inside about the castle history. This city is a "must" visit in the "Camino de Santiago" with all the outskirt villages such us, Molinaseca or Cacabelos among others. The food is awesome where ever you go in the area.

  The Templar Castle features rough hewn stone structures that will impress anyone with even a casual interest in history. A self-guided tour has you walk along the walls, into and up the towers, and finally into the library where there are some very interesting manuscripts, paintings, and sculpture, depending upon the exhibit at the time you arrive. This place is best for fit people as there are many stairs and uneven surfaces. Please, be careful. The views are worth the climb. Take your time and a small camera.
